I think that people do make mistakes.
I also think that allowing oneself to continue making the same mistakes can become a habit.
If that behaviour defines a person, then I'd say they were a XXX (Cheater, Liar, Thief, etc.).
But making a mistake once does not define a person, I'd say.
However, it sounds like with this gal, it may be a habit by now.
