I saw this thread earlier, and I decided not to respond. It appears like lots of other folks didn't agree with me, so I'll throw in my $0.02. qpid, if you hadn't posted this, I would never have known you weren't a white guy; now that I know, I'll just forget it, because it doesn't mean a God-damned thing; I take people as I find them, I DON'T automatically judge them by their skin color. I'm white; I'm also a huge fan of the Blues; not that crap that goes by the name today, I'm talking about delta blues; does the fact that I'm white have any bearing on that? Hell no!! I also like a lot of Afro-American actors; I'm white though, so is it OK? You bet your ass it is, this racial stereotyping bullshit is just plain stupid; if I like someone, I don't give a shit if they're PLAID, I like the person, not their skin. Don't even consider your color; you strike me as the type of guy that people accept because you're a nice guy; lighten up on yourself, life will be a lot easier.
