No I didn't / don't. I must have got the newbie on the job though. They should tell you if this is the case.
Threading seems to be similiar to my emjoi which I swear by for my legs & underarms. I shave every now and again for convenience, but using the emjoi makes the hair grow back slower (since it's pulling it out) and alot softer. I have a tweezer type one you can use on your face but I haven't the patience for that. I'm sure you'd be able to use an emjoi on your face & there's no redness. Perhaps only the first couple of times or so there may be.
