BadNick : Swapping just about any GM trans V6 to an L67 is a fairly popular modification. There's even wiring harnesses out to streamline the process.
In a perfect world I'd do this to my Monte Carlo (Z34) and drop in a Getrag transmission behind it. It would be a fuckload of work, but it'd be cool to have a blown, standard 99 Monte.
