I think it's more about your overall demeanor than anything that determines how people perceive you (in this case as a virgin). I never really had this problem because girls always thought I was a virgin since the 9th grade. I attribute it to the fact that I speak with an open mind and have a "rico suave" kind of look.
My advice would be to not worry too much about it. Everyone has their own opinion, even if it's wrong. So let that girl's sister think whatever lets her sleep at night.
