A delusional Mayor drunk with power, I can relate.
The City of Flint's mayor decided to take his personal vehicle and have official police emblems and lights installed. He thought as head of the city, it made hime head of the police and fire departments as well. The second time he drove it, the state police pulled him over and informed him he would be arrested for impersonating a police officer if he ever drove it again.
It's still sitting in the city garage.
I think all mayor's get a little drunk with power. They get the feeling it's THEIR city, so they can control it however they want.
