Intent goes a long way...
While it certainly was a dangerous play that ran the player into the boards, there is no overt intent to injure.
When you look at what happened with the helmet...well....that's absolutely inexcusable.
I thought that Todd Bertuzzi's incident shows exactly how the NHL handles these things. If *I* were the commissioner, Bertuzzi would be out for EXACTLY as long as Moore was. If Moore was done with hockey, so should Bertuzzi have been.
So yeah...the NHL is kinda pansy on these suspensions.
