Last week, I vacationed in Switzerland. I stayed in Davos for 4 days and Zürich for 1 day. What follows are a few thumbnails from the 492 photos I took. Requests for full-size (1792x1200 or 1200x1792) photos accepted. A few disclaimers are in order:
1) I am a complete amateur when it comes to photography. But I love to record parts of special trips.
2) My digital camera, a Kodak DC290, is 6 years old and is a first-gen digicam. As such, it has a very slow shutter and other design flaws, so a few photos are of somewhat poor quality.
3) Most of the photos were taken from within a moving train. As such, there will be some reflections and the like.
That said, what follows are primarily photos of various panoramas that I saw while riding the Bernina Express Rhätische Bahn train from Davosplatz, Switzerland, to Tirano, Italy and back. We passed through several major stops along the way, such as Filisur, Pontresina, Poschiavo, and Samedan.
