Reminds me of a piece on the Today Show last week about how we choose mates similar to our parents...as part of the piece they showed a clip from the movie Must Love Dogs where Diane Lane's character answers her own father's personal ad.
It really doesn't surprise me that this would happen, and I doubt they're alone. We do have a tendency to pick people that have the traits we like in our own parents--I know my boyfriend has a lot of the same traits I admire in my father. So, whether we realize it or not...the majority of us are dating our own parents in a sense...
