It wouldn't hurt to call your Doc and ask him the same thing you asked here.
It could be nothing, something minor like dryer skin, or it could be an allergic reaction. Often in an allergic reaction the itching would only be a result of a rash not just itchy by itself. Do you have any redness or raised areas, at least none that aren't scratch marks anyway. When I was on any pill and some were worse than others, I would get very dry skin that would start out as being itchy and then become flaky. Try using a rich cream on the places that are itchy and see if that solves it.
Medline Plus does not show itchiness as a side effect. So in my UNprofessional opinion this is either a result of a mild rash that you did not notice yet, or it's dry skin.
