I got mine for $100 over retail for the Core (which sucks) a week before Christmas on Craigslist. Found a local guy, drove and picked it up right there.
After playing PGR3, Condemned and Kameo, I can't say I'm really impressed. I wouldn't push it, and just wait until you can pick one up in the store without any effort.
