He didn't bet, he didn't finance, and he didn't conspire with the mob. The only reason his name is still attached to the case is because no one outside of hockey and fans knows who the hell Tocchet is, so by calling it the Gretzky Gambling Scandle, the reporters might actually get some readers to care about it. Its your typical media sensationalism, not giving a damn whether they drag an innocent man's name through the mud, as long as the story sounds good and sells.
