I've had waaaay too many. Worst was probably the grinder incident. I was about 14 and grinding the paint off of the metal railings for the front stairs when the grinder skipped off of the rail and tore into one of my fingers, going nearly down to the bone. It's probably my favorite scar to show off since it's on the middle finger of my left hand.
Moral of this story: no matter how hot it is and how much they make your hands sweat, wear gloves while using a metal grinder.
