Dizziness

I occationally get these dizzy spells that last from 10-40mins. Recently they started to vary in intensity but the bad ones, lets say 8-10s I literally can't walk without falling over. Normally in the past years they only occured 2-4 times a year but lately they have increased. I had a really bad one, a 10, about a month ago and on monday and today I had some minor ones like 2 or 3s that lasted 10ish minutes. Nausea accompanies the dizziness, although I'm not sure if that's from the dizziness or with it. In other words if it's part of the problem or because of the problem.

The bad ones are very dehibilating and I fear what might happen if I'm driving when one hits. I have done some research but nothing really fits. There are some migraines that can cause dizziness, but that's all I have, is dizziness. No other symptoms that normally go along with migraines like seeing spots, or a headache. Nor am I doing anything that seems to trigger them. So far they have all been pretty random. One time was in class, another I was sitting at the dinner table, another in bed, and another while at the computer.

They come on very fast and usually decrease slowly. I'll just be sitting there and then suddenly the world is spinning. Keeping my head very very still is the only thing that helps. If I move even an inch it makes it much worse. Although even if I'm perfectly still I still feel dizzy/spinning, it's just is worse if I move.

Any ideas?
