rather than using thumbtacks - which makes all sorts of holes in the wall - you can either use velco strips (you can buy a pretty long strip pretty cheaply, and put a piece on each corner - or use a tacky putty - which most craft stores sell - it's kinda like playdough only really sticky and cleans up easily.

If you are in a craft store - you could also glue the rastered papers to foam core - least i think that's what it's called -its a hard back poster board that's maybe 1/8 of an inch thick and you can use a utility knife to cut it into the sizze you need... will keep your image in good shape
