I pee when I use a dildo (same as after intercourse- I get UTI's if I don't) but if I just use my fingers then I don't. You could either *not* pee and perhaps get a UTI, or pee and definitely not get one. Just remember to keep that dildo clean by washing it before and after using!!
On another note, what causes UTIs (according to my microbiologist friend) is bacteria from the rectal area getting pushed up into the urethra. So, if you're just out of the shower, chances are slim that you'd get one if you didn't pee. But otherwise, it's a real possibility.
