I think that the Taiwanese legislators have also gone at it on occasion. And there have been fistfights on the floor of the U.S. House and Senate.
I don't know about the British Parliament, but I watch Question Time on C-SPAN from time to time, and they don't need to use fists or weapons -- they fight really, really well with their mouths. Yeah, we speak English here in the states, but English really belongs to the Brits, and they sure know how to use it.
I get the impression that if an MP hauled off and whacked someone on the floor he'd lose face -- because if he'd _really_ been on his game, he'd have been able to destroy the other guy without ever lifting a fist.
