start with the piece of hardware that you installed just before the initial crash as noted above. becasue you aren't getting any sounds from the motherboard it is one of two probems: your psu or your motherboard. the fact that you aren't getting any warning beeps from your board indicates its mostlikely the board. even with a bad cpu you should still get feedback from the board. when you start it do you even get anything from bios? if not, sounds like the board is dead, but i wouldn't rule out the cpu either though.
