Well, not likely. There will be some games that may take advantage of the new programming features available in the OS. But mostly, programmers will only use a portion of them anyway, regardless of how amazing they may be. For instance, DirectX8 and 9 had a few hundred new and wow features when they were released, but I know that at most only about half of them were ever used.
