Pc Beshenivsky was shot at a travel agency
A 19-year-old man is due before magistrates charged with the murder of police constable Sharon Beshenivsky, who was shot during a raid in Bradford.
Yusuf Jama, from north Kensington, London, was arrested on Saturday in Birmingham and taken to West Yorkshire for questioning.
Mr Jama will also face robbery and firearms charges when he appears before magistrates in Leeds.
Pc Beshenivsky was shot during a raid at a travel agency on 18 November.
Her colleague Pc Teresa Milburn was injured.
Two other men - Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 24, and Mr Jama's brother Mustaf, 25 - are still wanted in connection with her death.

Pc Beshenivsky and Pc Milburn were shot after an attack alarm had been set off and they were sent to investigate at the Bradford travel agency.
Crimestoppers has offered a £50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killers of Pc Beshenivsky.
Det Supt Andy Brennan said: "We are continuing to receive a lot of support from the general public.
"If you ring Crimestoppers, you do not have to leave your name and your call will be completely anonymous.
"If your information leads to the conviction of the people responsible for this crime, then you could claim this reward."
Yusuf Jama was arrested after police were called to a house in the Saltley area of Birmingham.
Muzzaker Shah was born in Burnley but is believed to have lived in the London area for the last four years.
Mustaf Jama is last known to have been living in north Kensington.
