I was stuck behind my desk all day with nothing to do. My first board was a boxing chat, but the offtopic convo started being more interesting than the lack of talent in the heavyweight division. The someone posted a link there to a thread here and here I am.

People here are more honest than anywhere else on the net. I was surprised by the openness of the community and the access it gave me to people that were so different from anyone Id ever known. It is amazing to have such access into the personal lives of people youd never know

The other boards I go to are topical such as boxing, snowboarding or diving. This is the only all purpose board I visit.

Depends on my mood. Usually by the time I find an interesting thread its 10 pages long so I see no need to repeat the same things that have been said 20 times but if I have something new to add, I do.

Ive gotten info on a lot of different topics and authors that led me to read more about subjects I hadnt considered before. Ive discovered some of my new favorite authors from threads Ive read here.
