I have watched a lot of football over the years and have felt a great deal of the NFL was fixed, but College football seemed above all that until today. I'm actually Texas Tech fan when they aren't playing OU, but the fix was definitely in today. Touchdowns with recievers obviously out of bounds, phantom roughing the passer calls to keep drives alive, a fourth down simultaneous posession call which was correct, but both players laying a yard short of the first down and then a phantom first down GIVEN and the ball placed at the 23 (it still wasn't a first down where they finally spotted the ball!). The final straw is a running back with his hips clearly on the ground and this shoulder on the ground reaching over the line for a "touchdown" to win the game as time expired. 2 officials looked at each other for a call for a couple of seconds and then made the call. The review shows the back on his ass as well. Expect an apology from the Big 12 this week in public. There are some officials who definitely need to have made some big money as they will likely be suspended for the remainder of the season. EVERY scoring drive for Tech had an extremely questionable MAJOR penalty call to keep the drive going.
As for the other thumbs down FSN gets a big one for not showing replays on the roughing or the spot on the simultaneous posession play. The two views they showed on the final td were less thatn sparkling, but ESPN's was pretty definitive.
What a JOKE!!!
You can't even expect impartiality in the college game.
