Perhaps.. I just don't have a lot of patience when it comes to jealousy... With all the self esteem issues that i have - I know that jealousy comes from lack of self esteem.
It really comes down to one thing... You can either trust him or you can't. Don't think for one moment that you can change him... or her for that matter.
Listen to your instincts about him.. you broke up with him once... has the situation changed any?
