Absolutely right. Correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I know, there are only two STD's that are not completely curable. Those are herpes (which is controllable) and HIV. There is no treatment for HPV but most people are able to develop a resistance to it and are eventually (anywhere from 2-6 years usually) able to be declared clear of it.
