piggy_annie, this could also be a symptom of a Urinary Tract Infection.
Whatever it is, you need to go to the doctor's and have it diagnosed and taken care of. It's not likely to get better on it's own, it will likely get worse. If you think there is even the remotest possibility it's an STD, you need to do the responsibile thing. Hopefully, that's not what it is, but you still need to take care of yourself pronto.
