I remember one time I wanted to call in sick, so I went and got a glass of ice water and walked into the bathroom and called my employer.
Well...I told him I wasn't feeling well and that I had thrown up a couple times earlier this morning. Than I pulled the "Oh man...hang on." I dumped the glass of ice water into the toilet and made some moaning noises. I got back on the phone apologized and, of course, just as planned he said, "Just take the day off, we don't want you here."
