Playstation 2 Repair Job Question

My PS2 had been unplugged recently (was rearranging my room and moved a power strip and didn't plug it back in), and had been that way for about two or three weeks. I plugged it in last Thursday and went to play a game, flipped the power switch on the back, and nothing happened. No red light on the front, no noise from the fans, nothing. So my obvious thought is that some cable must have gotten loose inside and I need to take it apart and hook it back up.

Warranty is not an option, as I bought it off ebay two years ago - and the VOID sticker was missing when I got it - and it's worked great the whole time despite that. I looked online for a variety of search strings including "Playstation 2 Disassembly", etc. - and it seems like all of the PS2 models that are being disassembled aren't as "advanced" as mine.

I don't have the slim PSTwo, but I seem to have a strange model (maybe really old?). As a result, the documention I've found (free) online consists of "take off the 8 screws underneath the foot pads, then lift off the case top, then you're done. Or a few of them might say things like "remove the 4 screws" without any picture evidence.

My PS2 had six screws underneath the casing on the PCB board, as shown in the first picture. I managed to remove them all without any problems and disconnect the cables on the board.

However, there's still one screw that I can't really get to that seems to be holding the board from being lifted out. I haven't seen any mention of it (or how to get to it, or if that's what is holding the board in place) online.

Has anyone got any experience repairing PS2s and know what could be wrong with the Playstation, or how to remove the board?

Thanks
