I can't believe they're still flogging this tired franchise. Further, I can't believe that with truly innovative games out there, people are actually buying it.
Call me old fashioned, but I expect new games to be original. If I wanted to play Quake 3 or Doom, I'd fire up those games, instead of buying a new one with shinier graphics.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and popular vote seems to go against mine, but I'll take Knights of the Old Republic or Half-Life 2 over this. Then again, I've been playing The Ur-Quan Masters recently (Star Control II, the 3DO version ported to PC) so obviously my tastes aren't mainstream.
