No jumper settings to change. And yes you have it right...and the PC does not recognize the new hardware.
In fact, neither the sound card or the Modem is recognized at all in any of the 3 PCI slots. I am worried it's a mobo problem, and I'll be quite bummed out if I have to take everything apart to RMA the mobo back.
