I don't take game previews seriously at all, because any preview can make a game look good. After the reviews are published I'll consider which game to buy, even though none really stand out to me. Prey looks decent, but nothing special. I loved the first Perfect Dark, so that is sorta interesting, but it's nothing new either. Oblivion looks the best out of all of the launch titles. I've mentioned this in many threads, but the 360's graphics simply aren't up to par with "next-gen" status. People like to argue this fact, but look at the difference between PS1 and PS2. There's a HUGE gap in between the graphics. Same with N64 and Gamecube. But from XBox and Xbox 360, the games simply don't look that much better as of now. I'm sure it will get better as time goes on, but the launch titles should at least look considerably better than current-gen titles. Games like Black and Burnout 4 look as good if not BETTER than XBox 360 games. That's not good. I'm glad games like Oblivion at least raise the graphical bar up a decent notch. Either way, I like to avoid being a fanboy by buying only one system and then arguing about how good it is so I can feel I didn't waste my money, so I'll be buying the 360 anyway. There's gonna be one hell of a game next year that'll make it worth buying.
