After reading the linked entry from Olivia and the replies thereto, I think it wasn't just our Vice President who needed to get some jerks removed from his knees.
Man, people see ANY kind of anti-Bush post ANYWHERE and it's just "Jump on the bandwagon" time!!
Bush ain't my favorite (and I voted for him...), he's certainly no hero/saint, but he ain't my least favorite prez, either.
I just get really really ticked at the relative black/white (not race, but as in one side or the other) state of politics in the USA lately. There's no room for shades of grey. And in my opinion, somewhere firmly ensconced within those shades of grey is where the truth lies.
