In a war, I expect things like this to happen. Of all the places and situations I can think of where I would expect everyone to be treated in a kind manner, war is at the absolute bottom of my list.
I don't find this shocking or hard to believe or even wrong. I see it, simply, as a part of war. They have never been pretty and they never will be,
