Excellent first topic...
Personally, I agree... my religion doesn't have a name. I don't follow the grain of any of them specifically. There are certain aspects of Christianity that appeal to me... but so are there in the Norse Mythos. I believe that supreme power is a single god and all the gods and goddesses at once. There are many personae and many ways to view the same ideal.
I believe in basic spirituality as a primal part of our existance and the existance of our Earth and our universe. Druidism makes sense to me in that view, as does Shamanism and Haitian Voodoo and hoodoo magicks. I believe in the power of magic as magic and spellweaving is just another name for prayer. I believe that a strong sense of belief, and especially strong emotions, such as sorrow and true love can have effects on our surroundings. Karma is a good play on that. Bad actions promote bad repsonses and vice versa. It's a way of life. It's the universe acting out on your actions.
In the end, I believe what I believe. Some of it cannot be explained in words alone. I don't look down on any religion. I do however, look down on those that look down on others for thinking differently. It's one thing to not agree... it's wholly another to think you are right and someone else wrong.
