Only if he ties with Nick Swisher, since their stats are almost identical (Swisher has a 60 point lower batting average, but an identical OPS due to Cano's 40 fewer walks and 40 more hits).
Cano
Swisher
I would put forth Gustavo Chacin (P, Toronto) and Joe Blanton (P, Oakland) as pitchers and Chris Shelton (1B, Detroit) and Jonny Gomes (OF, Tampa Bay) as hitters in the AL.
In the NL I would go with pitcher Robinson Tejeda (P, Philadelphia), and hitters Willy Taveras (CF, Houston), Ryan Howard (1B, Philadelphia), and of course, Jeff Francour (OF, Atlanta).
Unfortunately, Cano has the New York hype machine behind him, so he'll win.
