Cracked Laptop
I have a 3 yr. old Compaq Laptop and here lately it has seemed to have become very limber. On each side of the keyboard, there are Slots?? where two parts of the top of the frame fits around the keyboard itself. If i pick up the laptop holding it by the two front corners, the rear part/screen will bow down approx 1/4 inch. It is flexing way more than it did when new.
Just wondering if anyone ever had something like this happen before and if you think it will eventually crack the motherboard and render the machine useless??
It is old enough to not be worth the cost to send in for repairs. Wouldn't you know the extended warranty ran out couple of months ago.
