Seriously though, pop music is pretty hard to write. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to rehash the same beats over and over again, and come out with something that doesn't sound like every other song before it?

is that actually done anymore? the part about not sounding like every song before. it's gotten to where "pop music" is made by dancers. not even good dancing. they just sort of hop around like a bunch of demented frogs to the sampled beats of the recycled hit from the new toyota commercial. um, so hard to write they don't even bother anymore.
