Yessss - be VERY careful. I bought pure acetone to remove acrylic nails, and dummy me put it in a plastic bowl. It ate through the bowl no problem, then started working on the metal tray on which it sat. The kicker was when it unglued the tiles on my bathroom floor upon contact.
