I'm surprised to hear everyone say two months. Every gyno I've ever been to told me the first month, you use backup, and after that, you're golden as long as you take it consistently at the same time. The 4th week's pills are just placebos. The first cycle she has, don't have unprotected sex. After that, take everyone's advice from above for cycle sex. I'm a particular fan of the shower, myself!
But of course, like Abaya said... better safe than sorry!
