Ok, I just got back last night, after travelling 1200km + change in a little under 10 hours. I think the lady that handed over the vehicle at BMW in Munich said it best: " Rippley, zis vehicle ist not ein car, it ist ein weapon!" - truer words were never spoken.

I was limited in my use of the car: No revving above 5500rpm (the car maxes at 8250) and no pushing the M-button (the button that tells the engine software to let the leash off all 507 HP). So I only had 400 HP and 5500 rpm to work with. Despite this, I was cruising for extended periods of time, at 240 KPH... The car is insane. The way it pulls, even from 2000 rpm, in 7th gear, is just unbelievable. Sooooo powerful.
Also, it was incredibly comfortable - oh, and it looks like sex on wheels. Even better in the metal than on paper. It actually looks smaller in real life than I had imagined.

I will try and post pics later this evening, my time. Anybody have a suggestion as to where I might post them?
