Best Buy has a 14 day return policy on all computers, laptops included. They shouldn't sell it to you at a "new" price, because it isn't brand new, sealed in the box. You should have gotten maybe 10% off or so. Also, BBY will sell display items that are getting older at a reduced price as well. They have to get rid of their merchandise some how.
Since its been a while since you purchased the laptop, I doubt they will give you anything off of the original sticker. However, they will still honor the 1yr warranty from when YOU bought it from them.
