There should be no difference between the level of protection on the off-week vs. the on-weeks, assuming she is taking them EXACTLY when she's supposed to, etc. So really, you should be able to have sex whenever you want, as long as she is being consistent with her pills!
However, ktspktsp and I are so anti-pregnancy for the time being that we take NO chances. I mean, other than abstinence, we figure the next best thing is for me to be on birth control and for him to use a condom. So we never really have anything to worry about... it certainly makes me feel better and reduces our stress about "accidents" entirely. We have sex month-round, year-round... etc.
