Yes, that is a
huge part of the equation, and it should be. At this point in your life, you are still [
insert synonym for 'selfish', but without the negative overtones* ]. We were the same, and it wasn't until we were about 32 that we felt we had done enough of that and were ready to focus on a child.
* I can't find this word. It has to exist somewhere...
