She is just starting her second period with it in, During the first month she bled intermittantly, and had stong cramps from the IUD (stated it was different than period cramps) Now shes pre-period cramping and it hurts more than usual.
During sex if i thrust too hard and hit her cervix it is an extreme pain. Compared to w/o the IUD it was just an uncomfortable pain. This pain though, might actually be a good thing, we have been trying new positions that avoid contact with the cervix that we are liking ALOT!
btw: She has the non-hormonal paraguard that you keep in for 10 years. Me being in the medical field I watched the insertion, and it was pretty cool to watch, although a little painful for her when they measured the depth of the uterus. The thing is so small you could fit in inside a large coffee stirrer straw. Any questions feel free to PM,
