I would tend to agree. No matter how much training any of us have, it's generally pretty hard to get a real feel for what's going on with you without being seen in person.
And on the plaqes, he said he noticed them a couple weeks ago, so they should have grown or devloped into the full sized plaques by now, and he'd be having pain and curving.
On the frequency, it could be something related to that as well, perhaps try cutting back a little bit, but it's good you're taking a break so to speak to see if things improve.
