She might just be plainly making a joke. It's possible that she sees being "hit on" as a blatent, if pathetic, attempt to just get her to want to hook up / go home / sleep with the guy.
In your case, she sees what you two have as more relationship-based, and less of an attempt in you just trying to get her in bed.
Unless you see anything else, I'd just as soon let this go as just an offhand comment, and not worry about it too much.
