@ genuinegirly - eh, as more of a general thing, than specific to this situation ... but that may not suffice.
too 'sappy' sounding ... or maybe it's more like 'the man I'm fucking' or whateverthefuck.
maybe, where a label is necessary (when referring to him to others) 'the man i'm seeing/dating' or whatever, could be a bit better and more neutral?
