I live in Northern Wisconsin, and even in the city you can see a lot on clear nights.
We don't have any serious air bases nearby, and the only one that I can think of that is publically active is Ft McCoy. I've seen some interesting stuff around here, but in some cases I was 'influenced', so my testimonies hold little water.
