Let's give due credit - he was burning off 3,500 EXCESS calories per day. I did my first CrossFit workout yesterday. It was brutal and today I'm having difficulty moving my legs, but it was also fun. I'll definitely be continuing with it. There are some fun, moitivated guys in NY doing it in a group. As for Pukey, I almost met him. Fortunately I wasn't strong enough to be doing power cleans after weighted tabata squats and 150 full range situps. If I had done those lifts, Pukey and I would have been real close.
One question for BigBen931 - how did you guys start doing CrossFit cold turkey and still remain functional (in terms of muscle soreness/stiffness and fatigue)?
