Josh Arieh is his name. He's actually much nicer now, he's apologized to the people he insulted last year during the World Series and has become decent friends with David Williams, Daniel Negreanu, and that crowd. The WPT Borgata from this past season was amazing - the final six were Arieh, Negreanu, Williams, Phil Ivey, Syracuse Chris, and an amateur... that's an amazingly fun final table to watch.
Anyway - Raymer definately was not a fluke, Moneymaker even wasn't so much as Varkonyi was... Moneymaker has won or final-tabled in some decent sized tourneys as of late... and I even saw him win a tourney on PStars the other night for an extra 11k.
Varkonyi was a total fluke though - you could tell watching his coverage the next year that he just didn't have it, whereas we'll get to see Raymer's table become the ESPN featured table on Day 1. He goes from 4k short-stacked to over 45k within a few hours at that table!
