No, as I said a modem would be the last resort. I don't mind removing mine and putting it in there. It's not that hard to do. I've built several computers as well as done alot of upgrades for mine as well as others.
I'd rather her use the internet through the network so I can disable it when I feel she doesn't need it or prevent her acess if she's being punished. Putting a modem in it will just let her pop on anytime she wants without dismantling the phone line to her room from the living room.
